The DL SAILS All Purpose Asymmetrical Spinnaker is a type of sail designed for downwind sailing, commonly used in racing and cruising. The asymmetrical spinnaker has a curved, triangular shape with a flat leech (the trailing edge) and a more pronounced, deeper belly. We us a very high quality of Polyester/Nylon spinnaker cloth for this sail, Tri-Radial desing. Our Asymmetrical spinnaker is typically controlled by a sheet (to trim it in and out) and a tack line (to adjust the position of the tack and help keep the sail filled).
All DL sails are designed using state-of-the-art programs, according to the needs and aspirations of each sailor. Depending on the fabric, cutting is done with a Plotter Cutter or Laser Cutter.
All seams are made after gluing the panels with double-sided silicone adhesive tape, which makes the seam very strong and prevents moisture from penetrating between the panels.
The finishes are handmade, based on the quality of strong materials such as leather, etc. that provide protection, durability and good appearance.
